Joseph Patrick Mauer (born April 19, 1983 in Saint Paul, Minnesota) is a Major League Baseball catcher for the Minnesota Twins. Mauer is regarded as one of the best defensive and offensive catchers in baseball and has also won three batting titles and the AL MVP award.
