Indian Tennis player Sania Mirza and former Pakistan cricketer captain Shoaib Mallik’s marriage reception was held on April 16, 2010 at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad, India.

The reception was a low-key affair with just 500-600 guests attending the ceremony.

Only around 1000 invitation cards were distributed. But only some 500-600 people attended the wedding reception. Some of the prominent guests who were present were Former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu and Pakistan’s Minister of Welfare and Population Firdaus Ashiq Awana.

Firdaus Ashiq Awana gifted a golden crown to Sania Mirza.

Bollywood actors Raja Murad, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Neha Dhupia and Rakshanda Khan also attended the reception. Sohail Tanvir was the only Pakistan cricketer to attend the ceremony.
