She was born on Jan.16,1979 in Brooklyn, New York.Her debut album was " Age Aint Nothing But a Number"."Try Again," this album brought her 2 Grammy nominations and the 2000 MTV awards for Best Female Video and Video From a Film. She was unfortunately killed in a plane crash on Saturday, August 25th, 2001, on the way to Miami from the Bahamas.
