Samsara is the cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth within Hinduism, Buddhism, Bon, Jainism, Sikhism, Vaishnavism and other Indian religions. According to these religions, during the course of each life, karma (actions committed for good or ill) determines the future destiny of each being in the process of becoming (evolution or devolution).
