He stood to his words. He made our men master the tactics of guerrilla warfare and won wars against Japan, France and US.

Uncle Ho was born on May 19, 1890 in a village in central Vietnam. He was originally named Nguyen Sinh Cung. He lived in England from 1913 to 1917. Ho Chi Minh lived in France from 1917 to 1923. He later founded the Vietnamese Communist Party from China. Formed Vietminh in 1940 and fought against Japanese. After the victory Ho Chi Minh announced the formation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Then came the war with French. The French lost the war on 1954. But the Vietnam was split in to two. North led by Ho Chi Minh and South by Ngo Dinh Diem. Then came the war to unite Vietnam. After a long fought battle and huge loss of lives North Vietnam won the war that reunited the country in 1975. Ho Chi Minh died in September 2,1969.
